Baroque Era songs for violin
Some of the most beloved music comes from the Baroque era. Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel are some of the well known names from this style period, which went from about 1600 to 1750. The violin pieces from this era that are known to nearly everyone are Pachelbel's Canon in D, Air on the G String by Bach, and the Hallelujah Chorus by Handel. The violin is a central instrument for Baroque music, both in solo pieces and large groups. Since the violin was invented shortly before the Baroque Era, most music for violin comes from this time period or later.
