Brace yourselves, Winter is Coming! (Sorry - obvious joke is obvious).
Here is the lovely Largo movement from Antonio Vivaldi's Winter, from The Four Seasons. The bass part plays the melody and is accompanied by violins playing pizzicato and cellos playing a syncopated, octave pattern throughout.
Feel free to play at least three bows on the last note since it is far too long to do with one bow. Preferably use 3 or 5 so that you end on a down bow.
There are several trills in this piece that are not indicated here. I'm still working on adding more indications so you can add trills and articulations. Please listen to the original so you can find where the trills are, or just play the way it is indicated here. The note marked in the case of trills is always the lower note of the trill, so trill to the note above.
