This is a well known Peruvian song that is considered by many to be a secondary national anthem of Peru. It was written in 1913 by Daniel Alomia Robles based on traditional Andean folk music. Simon and Garfunkel recorded a version that became very popular and introduced the world to this melody. This arrangement is for viola with guitar and panpipes.
