We recently added print support to songs, such you can access via the main print icon on the song detail page, but also via the “…” drop down menu shown in the blue menu bar on top. When used on a song that support the play along sheet music, the print will support printing traditional sheet music, otherwise only tab will be printed.
Many songs support both tradition sheet music and tab print, but most user uploads have not been configured properly to show sheet music. When that happen the print screen will not show the option to switch between sheet music and tab.
Because this is a new feature, it is possible that some songs will fail to show the print view properly. If you run into a specific song that has an issue, please report it here in the forums.
One song that we know has issues showing print view properly is https://www.stringclub.com/learn-play/bach-cello-suite-no-1-prelude/ and I am reviewing that song now to see what the bug is to fix that. Thanks for the heads up Luis.
FYI, I’ve fixed the issue with the bach cello suite no 1 and it now shows the print view as expected. I also added support for printing the selected track. Many of our official songs have multiple tracks of good sheet music and tab, so its possible to print the main violin part and the secondary violin or cello part to go along with it as an example .
